I have been enchanted with elephants since I was 10 years old. My grandparents were friends with the incredible Katy Payne, who discovered that elephants communicate through infrasound, that long, slow wave frequency of sound that moves through the ground for miles and the elephants pick it up with their toes. In this drawing, I imagine that organic listening of the body, imagine the sound, having traveled through the Earth to meet the toes of an elephant, to then travel through their cells to reach the mind.

The medicine of this piece, for me, is to assist in the ability to listen, to feel the messages being communicated to us from Earth, from Spirit, and from our own wise inner dialogue-- the whispers that nudge us to the stepping stone of the next right action of our lives.

That's what I feel from this Elephant. What do you feel?
