SOUND OF ELEPHANT II.
This piece is an honoring of these great listeners of our planet. Elephants communicate over long distances with a low frequency called infrasound, which carries its slow wave for miles across the deserts and forests, and can be felt as a rumble in the air by nearby humans, but not heard.  Not only are they listening with their ears, but they listen with their toes from the earth carrying the vibration and communication from their fellows.

I also have a healing bodywork practice, and in this work, I call on the Elephants to help me listen. I find that connecting with this animal's medicine helps me to listen to the vibrations of the body, carrying it into my mind so that I know what to do, or rather, what to witness. They especially like to assist me in feeling the Cranial rhythm, the tides moving our cerebral spinal fluid (that stuff of magic, that breath of life). Thank you, Elephants, for our long tide of connection.
