MOMENT OF CONTACT
This painting is a celebration of the Mountain Gorillas of the Virunga Mountains in Africa. I have been asking the Mountain Gorillas to come to my studio. And suddenly, in the last week, I am surrounded by them. They shimmer in the room, sitting among rainbows, surrounded by the jungle of the Virunga mountains. Perhaps I am visiting them? Time and physical distance have little impact when you are connecting through love.
