LYNX
When you read the spirit messages of Lynx in books it is about the hyper attuned senses of hearing and sight allowing one to see deeply into the truth that others carry. But for me, Lynx is about using those abilities to see and hear the truth in our inner dialogue with the self. I carry secrets, I imagine you do too, and it feels important to be clear with ourselves of all that lies within the layers of the conscious mind.
Perhaps my favorite aspect of the Canadian Lynx is these feet! They carry the body on the surface of snow. I felt this way living for a winter in the Adirondacks and snowshoeing every day atop 4 feet of snow. I remember seeing the tips of young evergreens poking out around me and I had the thought “I could be walking over hibernating bears right now….”. What a feeling to be able to float on feet far above the ground, the mystery of that. I imagine Lynx can sense everything below the surface in ways that I never will, but I will try.
